This amplifier is in good shape. It came from a silent-key estate and is believed to have seen little use. It has a few scratches on the cabinet, but looks very good otherwise. High-voltage was a little low on the amp's panel meter, but that's likely due to our line voltage at the shop. Under load it should sit around 3300V, and we were getting around 3000V. Because of that, output was a little low as well. Keyed down on 40 meters with 90 watts of drive, we got a little over 1300 watts. With the proper line voltage, this should all straighten out. Please refer to page 4 of the user manual (available for free on MFJ's website) and take care to install the transformer properly!

There's a diagram there which should make it clear. Double-check that it's properly installed before applying power. Ensure the equipment will meet your needs. Ensure you know how to operate it. Ensure it will work with your existing equipment.
