Drake L4B Ham Radio Amplifier with PS (collector quality, new in opened box)

  

This is a pretty neat find. This Drake L4B (SN 6158) appears to be unused. It came from a fellow who was amassing tons of collector-quality gear with the plans of one day setting up a station. Health issues got in the way and that never happened. As you can see, the accessory pack still has the parasitic suppressors in it, along with the plate caps and cables. The amp looks like it left the Drake factory yesterday! There are some small areas where the cardboard rubbed through the bag and left small scuffs, but that's about the only cosmetic wear. Overall, I would easily rate it's cosmetics as a 9.5-out-of-10. It is spotless inside with no dust.

The box is complete and has all cardboard inserts. The serial number on the box matches the amplifier. The power supply has one small scratch on the side (see photos), but otherwise looks amazing as well. Like the amplifier, it is extremely clean inside. It comes in it's original box, complete with cardboard packaging inserts.

If you aren't qualified to work on the amp, I can get you in touch with some folks who specialize in restoring Drake gear.
