Ham Linear Amplifier
Up for your consideration is this Uncle Elmo James 2x8.. This is a low drive amplifier, and I do not recommend a dead key over 200 watts.. All test was done on a dummy load.. I didn't have any fans that would fit inside the cabinet, so I used what I had.. These fan are louder and much faster about 125 CFM, and would work best away from your radio, but will keep this amplifier really cool.. THIS AMPLIFIER IS NOT FOR SIDE BAND..
IT IS TEN METERS ONLY.. NO, YOU CANNOT RUN IT ON A 125AMP POWER SUPPLY BECAUSE IT PULLS ABOUT 200AMPS.. NO, you cannot run a Stryker radio with this amp because it already have driver pills inside the amplifier.. Your radio will need a variable so you can turn your radio down to about 1 watt, and that will give you about a 200watt dead key..
