Heathkit SB-200 1200 Watt PEP HF Linear Amplifier Tested and Working with Manual
It COVERS 80/40/20/15/10 METER HAM BANDS. It needs about 100 watts drive and is rated at 1000 watts input, 1200Watt PEP output.
These amps would put out 600+ watts depending on the band using a pair of 572B tubes. The condition of this amplifer is as follows. Includes an Original manual, though the covers appear to be rebound. Includes what appears to be the original USA Made CETRON 572B tubes. Amplifier went to Omega Electronics for a checkout in 2001.
They replaced the meter HV resistors along with the rear rubber feet on the case. The replacement resistors, as I measured, are around 19Meg and were origially 14.1Meg ohms. That makes the plate voltage on the meter read a bit lower than it is, at around 1900VDC.
This amplifier appears to be pretty much stock as built originally circa 1975, with most components original other than those mentioned above. The case is in original excellent condition.
Here is the maximum CW/FM output I measured on the bands with my Bird wattmeter, with 100watts CW drive. 80m 525W, 40m 525W, 20m 525W, 15m 525W, 10m 375W. Checks must clear before shippping.
