HENRY 4K ULTRA LINEAR AMPLIFER. This listing is for a Henry 4K Ultra Linear Amplifier. The 4K Ultra is the nicest full manual tune linear amp ever built. No fancy computer boards or printed circuit boards. Anyone with basic knowledge of linear amps can work on this. I've never had to do anything too it. Its just flat out a workhorse. SSB can go as high as 3KW PEP out. It'll make you loud thats for sure. No way could anyone build an amp this nice for the price. If Henry made this today, it would easily cost what a new Icom 7851 costs. It is in super nice condition, Non-Smoking-Owned since new. Working perfectly on all bands. This amp is built to commercial standards and most of them were bought by the government. It is rated at 4KW input power (about 2500 watts output key down with no time limit).

They are rare in any condition and one in this condition is nearly impossible to find. 40-50 watts of drive will give you legal limit out.

75 watts gives you the illegal limit shown on the wattmeter (not included). I noticed I hadn't put all the screws back in from taking the covers off for the internal photos. I have all the original screws for it. Its an easy amp to run.
