Palomar/Boomer 600 Linear Amplifier 1-1446 Driving 4 Motorola 3749 Transistors. The amplifier works exactly like its supposed to shows about 650 to 700 watts output on my meter driving it with a single final cobra 29 I have always used it on the bench I mounted a fan on top with blue LEDs that looks really cool and works good too theres a small switch on the rear that can be seen in the photos that controls the on off of the fan the fan can be run with the amplifier turned off it has one original 1446 transistor driving four original Motorola 3749 transistors none of the transistors in this amplifier have ever been changed I turned the face plate around so that when sitting with the heat sink up you could read it correctly but low power is medium and medium is low they are reversed because I turned the plate I just like to be able to read the faceplate without the letters upside I also added a nice power wire upgrade with an Anderson connector on the end the preamp works great does about 300 W on low just a little more dead key on medium with about 600 Watts out showing and a little more dead key and 650 to 700 Watts Out on high amp runs cool and has never given any issues as far as looks go its pretty clean has some tape marks on the sides as can be seen in the pics and the front cover is marked up in a couple of places other than that It looks really good does include the bottom cover although not shown in the pics it is a two piece cover that was made out of aluminum I didnt like the cheap plastic one that came with it.
