I recently had it gone over with a new pair of sd 1446 transistors. I bench tested with 2 watts in and got 40 out on low and 2 watts in got 70 out on high with great swing. I would say if you drove it with 4 watts or so the results would be better. The unit is a low drive amp with all controls on the front working. Nice over all condition but offered as is. The amp would make a nice driver amp. The item "Palomar-TX-200-Transistor-Type-Base-Amp-Nice" is in sale since Monday, March 26, 2018.
