Transworld Tw1000 Hf Amplifier
This is a military grade amplifier. These are all solid state, no tune. It covers 2-30MHz in six bands.
It is rated at 1000 watts PEP output. It is missing the original transformer. Power supplies are not included. It actually calls for 60 amps. Still I was able to get 950 watts out. This is the rack mounted version so there is no case. As you can see the sides and bottom are not there. Overall this is one brute of an amp.
It has automatic shutdown if high SWR is present so it wont get hurt. It comes with a copy of the manual. Please see pictures for actual cosmetic condition. I do my best to check them out and list all defects I find, but some of these units are 20 to 40 years old or more. Since old capacitors, resistors, and the other parts can change or fail at anytime we cannot fully guarantee them. Unless stated otherwise this is used equipment. Honesty is the best policy.
Sometimes we can not check out every function, and unless stated we do not completely rebuild or align equipment. We may do some repairs to get it operating. If you have any question about a certain function please ask, otherwise the new owner will be responsible for fully checking them out.
