1500 watts amplifier for 10 meters 1.8 to 30 MHz HF linear 50v LDMOS BLF188XR

For reference, on 27 MHz with 4 watts RMS of input it will make 800 watts RMS, with 15 watts PEP of input it will make 1400 watts PEP. Amplifier approximate case measurements: 6.5" x 11.1" x 4.3 not counting the front switches, cables or back connectors. All measurements are done using Bird 43 wattmeters, RMS readings are measured with dead key with the PEP kit turned off, PEP readings are measured modulated and the PEP kit turned on.
We measured the harmonics using a Bird Signal Hawk spectrum analyzer. Other measurements are done with a Fluke scopemeter/oscilloscope. All wattage measurements are off the air using a CDI 50 ohms 10kw terminating load (dummy load). 1st Bird 43 at the left measuring the radio power, PEP kit on, 5x multiplier with a 10 watts slug, 50 scale in the meter.
2nd Bird 43 at the center measuring the amplifier power in RMS or Bird watts, PEP kit off, 1x multiplier with a 1kw slug, 100 scale in the meter. 3rd Bird 43 at the right measuring the amplifier PEP power, PEP kit on, 1x multiplier with a 5kw slug, 50 scale in the meter. Good ventilation, low room temperature, 50 volts power supply with 50 amperes, ammeter and 12 volts power supply are required to operate this amplifier. You fail to do this, the amplifier dies, you decide.
This amp has broadband transformers, it can be used from 54 MHz with lower output, I'm offering this amplifier as 10 meter because you must be sure to use a low pass filter. It will not give you 1500 RMS on all bands(1.8-54MHz), less or more, you will see. BLF188XR transistor is RUGGED, but that doesn't mean it will not fail, you can literally cut the antenna cable and it will not die, but you go more than 45 amperes (this amplifier with 2 BLF188XR), you will have shooting stars, please don't try cutting the antenna cable..... Going above 45 amperes is easy, try to overdrive it and you will see, DO NOT OVERDRIVE THE AMPLIFIER. As a reminder, please don't overdrive the amplifier.
This amplifier is ugly inside but works. Please make sure you follow all FCC rules, this amplifier is not intended to be used on Citizen Band (CB), to be used without a low pass filter in the Ham bands(160-6 meters) or to use it more than 1500 watts in the HAM bands. The power output of this amplifier will vary depending your radio, antenna, coax, SWR and any other circumstances. I will continue to improve the amplifier so maybe the pictures are outdated.
