20LF6 Phillips Matched NIB NOS Pair CB/Ham Radio Tubes Eagle 500 Amplifier Rare

  

This listing is for a component matched current matched pair of 20LF6 beam power p entode tubes. This is a Phillips ECG and an RCA both in the original boxes.

The Tubes both tested free of any leaks, shorts, or quality issues with a reading of just shy of 3200 micro mhos where a new old stock Tube has a average new Old stock value of 3300 micro mhos on a Mercury model 1000 tester. They are based on averages and the industry standard is plus or minus 20% of that average is considered new old stock ; however , I use a little bit more stringent metrics, and I won't call a tube new old stock unless it's within 10% of those values and these tubes are only 3.06% away from the average. There definitely new tubes and they have matching components. I believe these are both Phillips made tubes because they have the great plates with four square holes.

And the double thick ring top get ter that I've only ever seen on Phillips made tubes. Either way the only difference in construction I see is that the RCA branded tube has slightly less silvering on the top of the envelope on the inside otherwise they look identical. They're definitely made by the same manufacture and I'm 96.94% certain that it was Phillip s who made them.
