2KW + VERY HIGH POWER 2x LDMOS BOARD LINEAR AMPLIFIER
A very high power solid state linear amplifier board. This board is designed for two LDMOS-FET's operating in a push-pull circuit.
A Variety of RF LDMOS-FET'S can be mounted on the board. 2x BLF 188,188XR 2400w out. (in my tests the 178 and 188 gave the best IMD results).
These boards are the result of a long R&D into. LDMOS FET high power linear amplifiers.
I have revised my design to improve matching and IMD figures. The board features a high power transmission line transformer wound on stacked ferrite toroids. For lower IMD, lower saturation.
And higher power output the board employs special quality coax yielding highly efficient impedance transformation. The dual sided 3 oz. And is 13 cm x 26 cm in size.
All critical RF capacitors are ATC for best rf performance. Efficient feedback circuitry ensures stable broadband operation.

The amplifiers have very good IMD since the devices are designed to loaf along at the designed power level. They are not pushed to the limit or to saturation!
