A brand new built Unit. A solid state High power HF linear amplifier built on newly designed circuit board. On a good ground plane.
2 mosfet's in push pull circuit. Amplifier is built with the best components and the bias circuit had been developed to employ modern devices (3 leg) and a current source with an exact control of output bias to the gates of the final transistors. Temperature tracking of bias is employed where the sense device (Diode) is attached very near the bases of the power transistors.
The circuit is very stable at all power levels. 5-7 W in puts 250-300 W out on a 50 ohm dummy load at 48v V. The current is about 16-18A. Idling current can be adjusted with a variable resistor on board to meet class AB of operation. A full description will be included with the unit. An output lpf is included too. Tested and performing great for an easy installation with your needs.
The bias circuit is switched on/off to allow stand-by/receive option. All Mounted on a heavy duty tapped heat sink to allow good, cool and reliable operation. FOR GOOD SERVICE AN EXTERNAL SMALL FAN ON HEATSINK IS NEEDED!!
Built int an ERTEX (spain) pro box wih so239 connectors and RCA connector for PTT with minimal load on driving radio circuits. With all needed relays inside. Also relative output lighted front panel ANALOG meter. Size 210 x120 x 85 mm and about 2.5 Lb. Please verify your address during checkout.
