5 gallon bucket is for size comparison only. I personally removed this transformer from service out of a homebrew 80 thru 10 meter pair of 4-1000's Ham radio linear amplifier that was built by a silent key friend of mine, W4CBH. I personally witnessed this amplifier peg a Bird 43 watt meter with a 10 KW slug in it, closed key.

I do have a picture of it somewhere here with the watt meter pegged and the tube plates glowing white hot. It is 21" tall, 19" wide, 14 deep and weighs appx. It is filled with oil but it is sealed air tight. This is the last piece of the amplifier that is left. I know that it was running 6000 volts on the plates so that would be about 4200 volts before the filter caps.

The ratings I quoted are all appx. As the transformer data plate is missing.
