Receive switch does improve reception. Testing was limited because I don't have a detuned radio. Checked out with a stock radio at appx 3.25 watts yet even on high power through dual wilson 5000s. I didn't sound terribly over mod so I question actual output. Even with a peaked and tuned radio (optimistically 7 watts). I still only got compliments on my sound. It spent most of its time in an over the road truck. Its built like a tank but vibration may have affected lifespan. All items are processed and stored in a clean, smoke free pet friendly environment. We do our best to keep our feathered and furry family members away from the inventory and have never had a complaint but if you receive an bonus pet hair or bird seed or even a down feather, please view it as a reminder of the good you have done and accept my apologies. Captain, Einstein and the rest of the flock/herd/pack/pride thank you for your understanding... Can't forget the fishies.
