This is a good running amplifier with minimal wear. The only cosmetic issue is that on of the meter lamps is burnt out and will have to be replaced. When we got it, the tubes were very soft and had to be discarded. We used some good tubes of our own to test with, but unfortunately they are our last and we cannot included them in the sale. You will need to acquire your own tubes.
Also, keep in mind that this amp uses three 811A tubes, not four. Plate voltage sat at 1700VDC (no load) and 1500 (loaded). With 40 watts of drive on 40 meters, we got 500 watts output when keyed-down. This item will be packaged using our InstaPak foam-in-bag system, ensuring the utmost protection! Bags filled with a chemical mixture expand around your item and harden to form a protective, yet forgiving, foam barrier.
