Here is a rare Amateur Radio antenna tuner. It was manufactured by a company in Wisc. These were made in the early 80s - 90s. It is model MAXI TUNER. The 2 variable capacitors are both 550 PF and high voltage. The inductor is 28 microHys. It comes with a large Balun (made up of 3 large cores). Each capacitor has a vernier dial that makes for great tuning and ability to return to a setting. The turns counter works great and is easy to turn. The inductor is very clean and makes contact from end to end. It has 2 coax connectors on the back - transmitter & antenna connections. It also has an output for a longwire and an output for a balanced flat line. I had one of these for 15 years and was able to tune up most anything - never thought I would fine another one. Included is a SWR meter that will assist in tuning and matching to an antenna. The case is black (mine was grey) , don't know if it was painted. It does have a number of marks that look like they were caused by pulling and pushing the tuner next to other equipment. Please look at all photos.
