This telephone can work in the LB (Local Battery) and CB (Cental Bartery) systems. During operation, LB can work with any field telephone, even those manufactured in the Warsaw Pact, working in the MB (Local Battery) system.

The type of work is determined by the position of the switch marked with appropriate symbols. After switching to the Central Battery operation mode, the device can be used as an ordinary "home" telephone connected to the "public" line, but without the possibility of dialing. After putting the handset back in its place, it also switches the contacts of the "cradle", which ends the conversation. The telephone is also equipped with: - a socket for connecting additional special devices, for example an encryption device, headphone, recording device, etc. Socket for connecting an additional handset, - telephone line terminals, - battery compartment 3 x R20, - sticker with a schematic diagram, - a carrying strap, This camera was the last model in Great Britain to use a microphone with a carbon insert.
