Collins 30L-1 Winged Emblem Ham Amplifier Clean Condition w/ 4x 572Bs SN Unknown. This amplifier is in very good condition for its age showing only minor wear! The biggest issue is that the power cord's insulation is starting to crack in places, as well as the front feet.

Other than that, and some tiny marks / scuffs in a couple of places, the amplifier appears to be in fantastically clean shape! Also, please note that two of the tubes have a slight rattle in their bases but are still operational. This item has been tested by our technician, a ham radio operator of more than 55 years. Here's what he had to say: This amplifier was tested with a dummy load, Bird 43 watt meter, and a Waters 334A dummy load / watt meter. With 50 watts input power I was able to achieve the following power output on each band: 80 meters - 500 watts , 40 meters - 425 watts , 20 meters - 400 watts , 15 meters - 400 watts , 10 meters - 400 watts. The amplifier runs great and is easy to use! The amplifier is wired for 120 VAC. If you have any questions about this equipment before or after purchasing, our tech will be happy to assist you. Please realize that this is a vintage piece of equipment, and unless specifically noted above, it has not been fully restored with new components. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it's impossible to know whether that will be next week or a few years down the road. Unless you are capable of doing this work yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you.
