Dentron 160-10L Ham Radio HF Amateur Linear Amplifier 872b tube valve 2KW
Used Dentron 160-10L ham radio HF linear amplifier with four 572B tubes. When working as designed, this unit will provide 2KW pep input. This unit came to me with no meter or meter switch. I put a generic 0-1ma meter in the hole and a brand new ceramic switch for the meter.
(3 position, I planned to add grid current) the meter circuit is not currently connected. I have not powered the unit up as I did not have the meter circuit wired yet nor have I traced all the wiring out. There is a 220 plug on the cord.
The tubes look decent and do not measure any shorts but I have no way to test them. There is no guarantee on this and no return. Please review the pictures carefully, I have tried to capture every area well. I will include a copy of the manual.
This could be a fun project. NOTE: THIS AMPLIFIER USES VOLTAGES SIMILAR TO AN ELECTRIC CHAIR AND IF MISHANDLED MAY HAVE THE SAME EFFECT, BE VERY CAREFUL. (I will insure if you are willing to pay for it).
