The amp powers up and high-voltage sits at a little more than 1500 VDC with no load applied. However, once a load is applied, it starts jumping around. This is probably due to some of the power supply capacitors starting to break down, which make sense given the age of the amplifier. However, we haven't verified this 100% and there is a chance that there are other issues at play. If you need to find someone to do the work for you, we can supply you with a list of qualified technicians.

Also, please note that we haven't tested the tubes and cannot guarantee their power output. If you prefer one carrier over the other, please make that request when paying for the item.
