ETO Alpha 76A Amplifier for Ham Radio for Parts/Restoration w/ Orig Box SN 5999. This amplifier is in pretty good condition for its age showing some visible wear. The biggest issue is that the front panel is quite worn and shows scuffs, marks, and scratches. However, the rest of the amplifier is in really nice and clean shape! Unfortunately the amplifier is in need of repairs so we must sell it AS-IS for parts or restoration. Please read our technician's notes below to see what he found out. Also, please note that there are no tubes included with the amplifier however we are including the rubber chimneys. The original box and original manual, along with some other documentation, are also included. This item has been tested by our technician, a ham radio operator of more than 55 years. Here's what he had to say: When I turned on the amplifier it arced over at the power supply capacitor bank. Could not test the amplifier any further. The power supply capacitor bank will need replacement, and possibly other components as well.
