Hf Home Built HF Linear Amplifier 1KWith1500watts pep

Here i have for sale reluctantly a home built hf linear amp. I aquired this from a sk sale sometime ago but has to go it is a work of art(if you like this sort of thing) and very heavy the power supply weighs 50k plus the rf deck about 20kg so is collect only from delabole north cornwall. It uses two QY4-400 also has two spare used tubes include in sale. Covers amataur bands 80 through to ten yes and before you ask it will tune warc bands and 11mtrs (if you are that way inclined). The power supply has various volts but the main eht is 2750 volts so take extreme care!

This amp is a work of art and has to be seen and built like a tank!! The various components inside must have cost a fortune. I have used this with my icom 7610 (the ptt line is ok for modern rigs) with excellent reports. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS COLLECTION ONLY THE RF DECK IS OK BUT THE POWER SUPPLY IS A BACK BREAKER. So would suggest two people go on have a day trip to north cornwall!
