Kenwood TL-922A Ham Radio 3-500Z Tube Amplifier (wired for 230V, runs great)

This is a nice Kenwood TL-922A amplifier. It's in fair cosmetic condition with quite a few scuffs/scratches on the top cover.

The top cover is also missing a screw. Also, the meters have just a bit of residue inside the lens. This has no impact on the meters (isnt even touching the actual meters), but I wanted to make mention of it.

It's relatively clean inside with some dust that can be blown out. It's currently wired for 230VAC and has two cheap Chinese tubes installed. For CW, plate voltage sits at 2100VDC with no load. Keyed-down with 70 watts, we got 600 watts out.

For SSB, plate voltage sits at 3100VDC with no load. Ensure this amp will meet your needs, and just as important, be sure you're comfortable operating it. I'll say it one more time....

Read the manual before purchasing and operating the amplifier. I can take the tubes out if you like, but I would personally recommend leaving them in.

They are tight in the socket and are not going to come out. But, as I said, it's your call and I'll do whatever you prefer.
