KW10000 / Decca HF Linear Amplifier 2 x 572b
I bought this a couple of years back, but when it arrived it looked like it had been bumped in transit, as you can see, a back corner is dented and a valve was broken when i opened it up for inspection. That's why i won't be posting it, sorry. If you want a courier, you can arrange it. I bought a new matching Cetron USA 572b to go in it, but i lost interest as metal bashing and fixing the frame is out of my league i'm afraid. I failed metalwork at school....
The valves should be great, one is hardly used and the other one is new (old stock of course) I removed the broken valve and the anode cap is assembly is removed, but it's in good condition, and it's included, but it's only 1 wire, so a 5 minute job to re attach. And has the time and knowledge to fix it up, it only needs a little TLC. All capacitors seem fine, all switches feel and operate as you would expect, its mechanically sound, just a bent frame.
And a quick look over and it should fire up just fine after a bit of TLC as i say. Comes with a very nice manual with full schematics etc : Please collect, it's so big and heavy to post, but i will post if you arrange the courier.
