NooElec LaNA Ultra Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) Module for RF & Software
A wideband (20MHz - 4GHz), high-performance, general purpose LNA module installed in a quality aluminum enclosure. Higher gain, lower noise figure, lower power consumption and better linearity than modules based on SPF5189Z and similar LNA MMICs. Can be powered through bias tee (3.3V-5V), USB, or DC power with the included adapter. A free male SMA to male SMA connector is also included. NOTE: Some SDRs will require a DC block between the LNA and SDR if utilizing the external power options. For more information review the product page or datasheet. FOR FULL SPECIFICATIONS AND DETAILS, PLEASE REVIEW THE PRODUCT PAGE AT NOOELEC. COMLaNA is a very high performance, wideband LNA module designed for general purpose SDR applications. Each module allows for 3 different power options, but you should only power with one option at any given time! The recommended power input through the SMA output port (for bias-tee capable SDRs like the NESDR SMArTee XTR) is 3V-5V DC. Alternatively, if you don't have a bias-tee capable SDR, you can use the external power options--the microUSB port, or DC barrel connector via the included DC to microUSB adapter. The recommended external power input is 3.3V-5.5V DC. Though there is protection circuitry on LaNA for overvoltage conditions--and voltages of up to 12V DC should still work and will not damage the device--it is not recommended for long-term usage. Each LaNA module has an internal EMI shield to protect the sensitive circuitry from external interference and is fully ESD-protected.
