SP-600S Pre-Amp and DCW 2004B Sequencer for 6 Meters. SP-600S Pre-Amp Switchable 51 MHz.
This is the SP 600S which is a low-noise and large-signal-proof mast preamplifier for the 6 m amateur band. It has a coax relay for transmit / receive switching. When using sequence control, the maximum transmission power is 750 W PEP and 500 W CW / FM / WSJT.
This amplifier can be powered remotely via coaxial cable through its output with a supply voltage. Alternatively, a local power supply can be provided via the UHF connector with a separate cable. When using the VOX switching, this amplifier must have a permanent power supply during operation. It offers a low noise figure and good large-signal behavior. In the case of low transmission powers, the transmit / receive switchover can be implemented using a built-in HF VOX circuit. It can be supplied locally or remotely. In VOX mode, the maximum transmission power may not exceed 200 W PEP and 100 W CW / FM / WSJT. The input and output of this amplifier are protected with amplitude limiters to ensure a high level of operational reliability. The input and output circuits of the amplifier have an exact 50-ohm impedance with very low imaginary components. This amplifier is built with a GaAs MMIC of the latest technology on a high-quality microwave substrate in SMD technology. The band pass at the output of the amplifier ensures a good band selection so that all signals that are outside the useful band are effectively suppressed and do not overload the receiver used. This amplifier has a splash-proof, UV-resistant plastic housing and galvanized mast clamps with stainless steel screws for attachment to the antenna mast.

Switching capacity with RF VOX: 200 W PEP. Insertion loss: 0.04 dB. Return loss when transmitter is active: 45 dB.

Input return loss (S11): 25 dB. Output return loss (S22): 30 dB. Current consumption: 130.150 mA. DCW 2004 B Sequence Control. Sequencer, DCW 2004 B, allows for comfortable remote coupling of the SUPER - AMP preamplifiers via a coaxial cable as well as for delayed switching of HF-linear amplifiers.

The sequential operation of the DCW 2004 B avoids reliably damage to the preamplifier that may be caused by HF-spikes during switching. It offers 3 switching outputs in total, which have ascending delay times.

So not only linear amplifiers but other devices, like transverters, can be switched on with defined times. The DCW 2004 B is designed for the SP series amplifiers.

The PTT switching input of the DCW 2004 B accepts a circuit against ground or against + 5... The preamplifier and a linear amplifier (if used) can be switched on or off as required. The HF-section of the DCW 2004 B offers a very low insertion loss and a high shielding factor. 6 m/1.0 kW CW. Preamplifier voltage: 0.5 max loadable.
30 V at 0.5A max. PTT output: switches at > 5V. (1.6x4.7x25.7) in. 600 g (1.3) lb.
