Tokyo Hy-Power HL-1KFX MOS-FET 500W HF Linear Amp
Tokyo Hy-Power HL-1KFX MOS-FET 500W HF Linear Amp with hand book and original box (box is a bit'tatty'). HL-1KFX is a compact solid state 500W. Linear amp covering all HF bands 160M - 10M. The amp is designed to produce 500W for CW/SSB with an input drive power 50-100W (it has a large high power attenuator on the input, so it will not overdrive if 100W applied). 4 X MRF150's and has built in 50V linear PSU. It has protection for overdrive, SWR, over voltage, fuse and temperature. Meter switch selection of output power, reflected power, amp current and DC supply. Simple ground on TX to operate Linear.
With a continuous carrier, 60-80W input (depending on band) it produces 500W out. I have had no problems running 350W using FT8. Using a WaveNode WN-2 peak power meter, maximum continuous output is around 550W. On SSB with a 100 W input it produces 700W PEP. Amp dimensions 232(W) x 142(H) X 350(D) mm.
