Vintage Heathkit SB-200 1KW ham Radio Linear amp for restoration

  

Some previous owner replaced the original fan with a box fan. Reading about 1800 V should be 2400 V. Looks like the original HV board and caps. One of the diodes has be replaced with a disk capacitor. Could explain the low HV. One is good, one is bad. The T/R relay closes as soon as you turn the unit on. That lead me straight to the tubes. I marked it with an X on the base. That's the extent of my testing. Don't forget to remove before powering it up. There could be other issues with the unit that are yet to be discovered.
