YAESU FL-2100Z linear amplifier WARC band compatible basic operation OK
I have checked the minimum operation. This model is compatible with WARC band. To check the operation, use an AC1OOV power supply, with the internal power transformer wiring as is, and the output tube. I left the two wires alone and omitted the ALC connection. The high voltage voltmeter indicates approximately 2300V without load and approximately 2050V with load.
The IP (plate current) meter did not swing. The PWR and REF positions are swaying.
The output changes by adjusting the PLATE and LOADING knobs, so. Plate current is flowing, indicating a malfunction in the meter circuit. I'm curious about the output, but we measured it in each band. For 7M band, please refer to the photo. (7M band seems to be the most efficient). Band, output power when exciter is 20W, output power when exciter is boosted. 1.8M, 120W, 200W or more. 3.5M, 120W, 200W or more.
7 M, 200W, 200W or more. 10M, 150W, 200W or more. 14M, 80W, 200W or more. 18M, 130W, 200W or more. 24 M, not measured because exciter transmission is not possible.
28M, 70W, 200W or more. This is a reference value only. There are scratches, dirt, rust, etc. And the front panel has some paint loss, but I think it is within the acceptable range.
(Not recommended for those who value appearance). POWER lamp does not light up. OPER lamp may not light up sometimes.
